Awesome software

So milling around for some images and ran across this software that allows you to actually sculpt 3 objects. Found some interesting images people created with the software on there.

Future project

I'm thinking of doing a underwater theme project for my senior show. This would be kind of the feel of it. The picture is a window display of ceramic jellyfish. Also, while looking for that photo i found an URBAN CAMPING TENT, so you have somewhere to sleep after the urban kayaking. This is awesome.

if the images didn't show up here are the links:

Tons of Work Ahead

Today was the first day for my Mon/Wed classes. Things went pretty well. In web design we dove right in to html. It was pretty easy, html hasn't changed in the last 5 years. But then I went to my Senior show prep class.

I have 2 gd jobs now!! I will be designing the Student Exhibition flyer for April and then the BFA Senior Show flyer for May!!!!!! I am very excited at this opportunity and completely overwhelmed. Deep Breath. I will do my best to take one task at a time. This will be GREAT work for my portfolio, it has to be good. The size is standard, an image for one side. But the image is up to me, completely! Feel free to post some suggestions for these flyers.

Events

Yesterday I was surfing and found an events website: http://www.zvents.com/ it has events going on, and also listing of restaurants, hotels, venues for your event. What I liked was the nifty tool that pulls up nearby hotels/restaurants when you search for a venue. Plus there are categories, so you can search by arts or by town (great for finding art galleries, shows or festivals!) There are several new exhibits going up in galleries for the new year. The FL state fair starts 2/5. Also this Saturday there is a FREE Wellness Fair with free massage etc.. and martial arts - Citrus Park. Gasparilla events are coming up as well Kids parade 1/24, the art fest 3/7!

First Day

Hello bloggers. I'm the new kid.

I'm hoping I will become more active with looking at others' art and make more art myself as a result of blogging. Today I participated in a first official meeting of an art group. Man am I pumped to do some work! If I could only tune out the TV long enough to do art work at the same time. I am working on it, really, I am. Does anyone else ever feel as though if they start looking at other artists they will end of copying them? That is what has kept me from doing much research in the past. I get so inspired to do exactly what other people are doing, not want to copy them and end up not doing any art at all.
